Hunkidori is a creative collective specialising in constructing environments where the emphasis is, as the name implies, that everything is alright. The ideas for Hunkidori were originally conceived in the Kulu Valley in India. "To create environments where ultimately all senses are catered for. A space of contentedness and connectedness. A multi-coloured, multi-media entertainment temple, a packed package of creative ideas, ideals and positive vibrations."

Hunkidori started running a vegetarian cafe and chill/entertainment's zone at festivals and events in 1995. Also helping transform many events and parties with their Rainbow decorations and installations. After three festival seasons a fresh sense of direction and new base in London saw the introduction of a weekly Thursday event called 'Sensorama' held at a venue in Brixton.

This was designed as an interactive playground, offering free food, games, poetry and music to those in attendance. 'Sensorama' was soon joined by the addition of a special Sunday event intended more for the family called 'Shanti Sunday'. These two events ran hand in hand over the next six months.

Hunkidori then started a monthly festi/party called 'Magic Bus' at a venue in Dalston London. Comprising three floors of music, performance and UV fluffiness, successfully creating a strong friendly energy. After a year of excellent bus gatherings it was time for a bit of a sabbatical and recovery. With the addition of a new tent Hunkidori continued to pop up in the fields going more with the flow than any real plan or agenda. Running a low key cafe and spangle space on a 'Magic Hat' basis. Often combining kids space by day and big kids space by night. Hunkidori is always shifting and evolving, more festi and party stuff to come.
